To all relevant organizations and industry colleagues:

As demand continues to rise for national defense security and public protection, ballistic and blast-resistant composite materials are becoming increasingly important as key materials for protecting equipment and personnel. Technological advances in this field draw on multiple disciplines, including materials science, impact dynamics and advanced manufacturing, and are rapidly moving toward lighter weight, multi-functionality and intelligent capabilities.

To further promote development and technological progress of the ballistic and blast-resistant composites industry, facilitate the efficient integration of industry, academia, research and application resources, and address challenges throughout the full process from mechanism research and structural design to testing and evaluation, the " 2nd Forum on the Technology Development of Ballistic & Blast-Resistant Composites " is scheduled to be held in Jizhou District, Tianjin on June 5-7, with registration and check-in on June 5, 2026.

This forum aims to provide a high-level platform for communication, with a focus on key topics such as ballistic and blast-protection mechanisms, innovative design concepts, performance evaluation systems, future development trends and practical engineering applications. Through in-depth analysis of the core scientific issues and engineering challenges facing composite materials in ballistic and blast-protection applications, the forum aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation, and to provide key support for the technological development and engineering applications of ballistic and blast-resistant composite materials in China. Conference details are as follows:
