Honeycomb composites with continuous-fiber are composed of a continuous, multi-layer honeycomb fabric preform, integrally form from high-performance fibers such as aramid, glass or carbon fibers, which serves as the reinforcement. With a thermosetting resin as the matrix, the material is integrally molded using the VARTM process. It shows outstanding compressive, flexural and shear strength.
