IDEX 2025, a high-profile exhibition, the Middle East's largest defense exhibition was held from February 17th to 21st, 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). IDEX was held every two years, which brought together more than 1,350 exhibitors from 65 countries around the world and attracted more than 130,000 professional visitors, including many government officials, military experts and industry leaders.

The dome shape specially designed by Protech for this exhibition was skillfully integrated with traditional Arabic architectural elements, which was a perfect blend with the local culture. Middle Eastern architecture was renowned for its diversity and openness, where different cultures and styles were intermingled and coexist. This characteristic was highly compatible with the corporate culture upheld by Protech in product R&D and customer service.

Protech team brought a number of soft and hard protective materials and downstream products to the exhibition. With innovative forms and unique shapes, these exhibits attracted the attention of many visitors and became the focus of the exhibition. Among them, the VIP ballistic vest got praise and favor by many professionals and customers at site. This ballistic vest was made from soft UD material, with areal density of only about 30g/sqm for one layer, which was as thin, light and soft as cicada wings and completely subverted the visitors' previous understanding about the flexibility of protective materials. This product made visitors realize that protective materials could also be extremely flexible. With its outstanding performance and innovative design, this performance-enhancing material and the VIP body armor made from it got praise by many professionals and customers.
