On February 17, 14th Abu Dhabi Defense Exhibition which lasted for 5 days opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. Abu Dhabi International Defence Exhibition IDEX was founded in 1993, and the exhibition will be held every two years, and it is known as the world's three major defense exhibitions with the London International Defence Exhibition (DSEI) and the European International Defence Exhibition (Eurosatory).
The exhibition mainly covered land vehicles and systems, individual personal equipment, radar systems, weapons, firearms and ammunition etc. attracting more than 1,200 companies from 57 countries and regions. On the opening day of the exhibition, UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally visited the exhibition.
